I Work With People at Thresholds

I work with people when something in their life, body, or identity has shifted and the old way of coping no longer works.

A threshold is that in-between moment. The place where what used to hold you together falls apart, but what comes next has not fully formed yet.

This can happen through illness, burnout, trauma, grief, or even success that came at too high a cost. On the outside, life may look fine. On the inside, the nervous system is braced, exhausted, or stuck in survival mode.

That is where my work lives.

I help people slow down enough for the nervous system to reorganize so they do not rebuild their next chapter on the same patterns that broke the last one.

 

Why The Threshold is the Turning Point

Most people try to push through thresholds using the same strategies that got them there. More effort. More thinking. More control.

But at a threshold, the nervous system becomes the deciding factor.

If the body stays in survival mode, people carry the same reactivity, fear, and pressure into the next phase of life. The scenery changes, but the pattern stays the same.

When the nervous system learns how to settle and regulate, something different becomes possible. Clarity returns. Capacity expands. Decisions come from steadiness instead of urgency.

This work is not about fixing what is broken. It is about helping the body catch up to the change that is already happening.

I do not rush people through thresholds and I do not keep them stuck there.

I work inside clear, structured containers because regulation requires safety, pacing, and consistency. This work is embodied and practical. It asks for participation, honesty, and follow-through.

I am not here to regulate you.
I am here to help you build the capacity to regulate yourself.

That is how change lasts.
